This is the happy little home I was telling you about. The Caveman’s Retreat. The beauty of my cave paintings is that they are constructed with such lightweight material you could literally hang them from the ceiling. So – if someday you see a Gallery Opening with no painting on the walls…and all the Gallery members looking up drinking a glass of wine…. you’ll know you’ve come to the right place. The other advantage for me is that no one can use the excuse on me…… “I DON’T HAVE another place to hang anything…. LOL…. Ok…. then I claim all the ceiling space….BUY! oopsss freudian slip…Bye!….. Hahahaha…….

The Brass color you see on the lighter colored stone is from the brass brush I used to clean the stone. It took on that brass patina…that was my happy accident. I didn’t expect the brass bristles to fly apart. I felt like a parachutist that landed in a cactus patch. I was picking pieces of brass wire from my arms and t-shirt with tweezers…. which was difficult I will add… I hope you like the piece… I came back in here to add something and now I forgot what it was….. shoot….this happens in cyberspace too….that is really SCARY!!!……Power to the Peaceful – Yall – Karl

I meant to say as a TexaWashatonian, This piece is on display in my Studio, “It’s Long, Tall and Lightweight” yet handsome. It is backed by a traditional stretched studio canvas. Surface is textured with a sandy finish the hand prints have 24K Gold paint around the hand prints and the hand prints are daubed for visual effects. There is a pearl essence coating the horse so under the right lighting it is spectacular. Power to the Peaceful, Y’all – Karl
