I have been an Artist for 36 years, I worked in all varieties of mediums. My HS Teacher L.T. Gordon provided me with art supplies that I’m sure he purchased with his own money. In 1980, my art was regionally selected as a Scholastic Art Gold Key Winner and displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas for 6 weeks. Also during ’80, my work received the prestigious “Best of Show” for the the Houston LiveStock Show and Rodeo. During College, I studied under Robert Madden, at Lamar University, in Beaumont Texas. Bob Madden was a teacher of the now late Janis Jopolin’s. I studied scuplture and ceramics under Meredith Jack whom frequently displays at Long Gallery in Houston, Texas. For watercolor, I studied under the expert toutalage of Jerry Newman. While in the Army, I entered Photography contests and won regional 1st place positions as well. As life, progressed I found that I still passion for the arts and will make art from just about anything. Please don’t forget to read about how my ancestors were the cavepainters based on my paternal DNA test.
